“You Believe in Love… So Why Not the One Who Is Love?”
Most people don’t reject the concept of love.
Or kindness. Or generosity.
In fact, even the most committed atheists often strive to be good, loving, kind human beings.
But here’s the question:
Where do those qualities come from?
If you believe in love but reject the source of love,
you’re left with a spiritual contradiction—
something that’s felt and even lived… but unexplained.
Many atheists reject the idea of God because of how He’s been portrayed:
An old man in the sky… sitting on a throne… handing out blessings or punishments like Santa Claus with a clipboard.
We get it.
That version of God is easy to dismiss.
But that’s not the God Jesus spoke of.
That’s not the God who reveals Himself in attributes, not just images.
Forget the throne for a moment.
Ask yourself:
Those aren’t just feelings.
They’re fingerprints.
They point to something—or Someone—bigger than us.
Someone who is not less than logic… but beyond it.
Let’s be honest—
no one becomes something they don’t believe is possible.
A doctor doesn’t begin med school unless they first believe they can become one.
They don’t have all the answers,
but they have a foundational belief.
Without belief, there’s no path.
No discovery. No experience. No access.
If you refuse to believe something could be real,
you don’t qualify to experience its depth.
Not because it’s hiding—
but because you’re closed.
Many agnostics and atheists admire the beauty of creation,
the moral compass,
the love between humans.
That’s like saying:
“I believe in the college, the classes, the curriculum…
but I don’t believe there’s a teacher.”
You trust the process but deny the Intelligence behind it.
You embrace the system but dismiss the Source.
That’s not scientific. That’s emotional resistance.
I met a man once—sharp mind, agnostic background.
He volunteered at shelters, gave to missions, mentored fatherless kids.
I asked him, “Why do you care so much?”
He said, “It just feels right.”
I asked, “Do you think love has an origin?”
He paused.
He had never connected his behavior to a source.
His life reflected the attributes of God, even if he didn’t name Him.
Eventually, after years of resisting “religion,”
he had a personal encounter with God in a quiet moment—
no preacher, no service.
Just a whisper:
“What if all the love you’ve been living…
was Me reaching for you the whole time?”
I’ve visited countless senior citizens in hospitals—
people with nothing to prove, no ego left to protect.
And do you know what’s common?
They’ve seen things.
Not hallucinations.
Not fear-driven dreams.
Peaceful, angelic encounters—
even among those who weren’t deeply religious.
My wife has experienced this too.
And you’d be shocked how many non-religious patients,
in their final days,
talk about light… peace… angels.
They have no reason to fake it.
They’re not writing books or building brands.
They’re just testifying to what science still can’t measure.
This isn’t about manipulating your mind.
It’s about challenging your honesty.
You believe in:
But those are not just evolutionary advantages.
They are spiritual breadcrumbs, leading you toward Zoe—eternal, uncreated, divine life.
The Bible says in 1 John 4:8:
“God is love.”
Not that He gives love.
He is love.
So if you’ve ever given or received love…
you’ve already touched a piece of Him.
If you’re even remotely curious… pray this:
“God, I don’t know if you’re real.
But if You are, reveal Yourself to me through love, truth, and peace.
I’m not asking for religion. I’m asking for reality.
If You are who they say You are—show me.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
It’s not about hype.
It’s about honest pursuit.
If you’re brave enough to believe in love…
you’re already closer to God than you think.
